Weather Privacy & Data
The weather section inside VitalSync's Activity tab is designed to be completely privacy-safe.
What VitalSync Does NOT Do
- Does not use GPS
- Does not request location permission
- Does not track your location in the background
- Does not send your location to any server
What VitalSync Does
- Fetches weather data for the city name you manually enter
- Stores your saved city locally on your device only
- Uses a privacy-safe weather API that receives only a city name string
Data Storage
Your saved city name is stored in your device's local storage (AsyncStorage). It is never uploaded to a cloud server, never shared with third parties, and is deleted when you clear your city or uninstall the app.
"VitalSync does not use GPS. Weather is based only on the city you choose. No live location tracking is used."
