Using the Vital Monitor Chart

The Vital Monitor is VitalSync's full-screen multi-metric trend chart. It plots up to six vital sign metrics on a single time-series chart with colour-coded lines, glowing data-point dots, and a dual right-axis scale so you can compare metrics that use different units on the same canvas.

Opening Vital Monitor

  • From the Dashboard, tap the NeoVital graph card header to expand it.
  • Tap the expand icon (↗) in the top-right corner to enter full-screen Vital Monitor view.
  • Alternatively, navigate to Dashboard → Vital Monitor from the bottom tab bar.
  • Time Range Selectors

Four pill-shaped buttons at the top let you switch the chart window:

    SelectorWindowBest For

    6hLast 6 hoursSpotting same-day spikes
    7dLast 7 daysWeekly patterns
    30dLast 30 daysMonthly trends
90dLast 90 daysQuarterly review with your care team

The active selector is highlighted in teal. Tap any selector to instantly re-render the chart.

    Metric Toggles

Six colour-coded pill chips below the time selectors let you show or hide individual metrics:

    ChipColourMetricUnit

    HRPink/RedHeart RateBPM
    SYSCyanSystolic Blood PressuremmHg
    DIAPurpleDiastolic Blood PressuremmHg
    SpO₂GreenBlood Oxygen Saturation%
    BGOrangeBlood Glucosemg/dL
    WgtYellowBody Weightlbs / kg

Tap any chip to toggle that metric on or off. The chart re-renders immediately. You can display as few as one metric or all six simultaneously.

    Reading the Dual Axis

Because metrics use different units, the chart uses a dual right-axis:

    • Left axis — primary scale (BPM / mmHg / %)
    • Right axis (top) — Blood Glucose scale in mg/dL
    • Right axis (bottom) — Body Weight scale in lbs

Each axis label is colour-matched to its metric chip so you can quickly identify which scale applies to which line.

    Data Points and Glowing Dots

Each logged reading appears as a glowing dot on its metric line. Tap any dot to see the exact value, date, and time of that reading in a tooltip overlay. Dots are colour-matched to their metric chip.

    Sharing the Vital Monitor View

Tap the Share icon (top-right) to capture a screenshot of the current chart — including all visible metrics, the selected time range, and axis labels — and share it via iOS share sheet or save to Photos.

Tip: Switch to 90d view and enable all six metrics before your next appointment to give your care team a comprehensive 3-month overview in a single screenshot.
