Get notified when a medication is running low so you can request a refill before you run out.

Medication Refill Reminders

VitalSync tracks your medication supply and sends a refill reminder when you are running low, giving you enough time to contact your pharmacy or prescriber before you run out.

Setting Up a Refill Reminder

Open VitalSync → Medications tab.

Tap an existing medication or tap + Add Medication.

In the Supply section:

- Enter your current pill/dose count (e.g., 30 tablets).

- Set your daily dose count (e.g., 1 per day).

Toggle on Refill Reminder.

Set Remind me when supply reaches: 7 days, 10 days, or 14 days remaining.

Tap Save.

How VitalSync Calculates Remaining Supply

VitalSync counts down your supply each time you mark a dose as taken. When the remaining supply drops to your chosen threshold, a notification is sent.

Refill Reminder Notification

The notification includes:

Medication name and dosage
Estimated days of supply remaining
A “Contact Pharmacy” shortcut (opens your pharmacy’s phone number if saved)

Updating Supply After a Refill

After picking up a refill:

Open the medication in VitalSync.

Tap Update Supply.

Enter the new pill/dose count.

Tap Save.

VitalSync will reset the countdown and send the next refill reminder when supply drops again.
