Medication Dose Reminders

VitalSync can send smart push notifications at the exact times you schedule each medication dose, so you never miss a dose.

Setting Up a Dose Reminder

Open VitalSync → Medications tab.

Tap an existing medication or tap + Add Medication.

Toggle on Daily Reminder.

Tap Add Time and set the dose time (e.g., 8:00 AM).

For medications taken multiple times per day, tap Add Time again for each additional dose.

Tap Save.

Reminder Options

Setting

Description

Reminder Time	The exact time the notification fires
Snooze Duration	5, 10, or 15 minutes
Mark as Taken	Tap directly from the notification without opening the app
Repeat	Daily by default; can be set to specific days of the week

Managing All Reminders

Go to Settings → Notifications → Medication Reminders to:

See all active medication reminders in one list
Enable or disable all reminders at once
Adjust snooze duration globally

Notification Permissions

VitalSync requires notification permissions to send reminders. If you did not grant permission during onboarding:

Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad.

Tap VitalSync → Notifications.

Enable Allow Notifications and turn on Time Sensitive.

Tip: Enable Time Sensitive notifications so reminders appear even when your iPhone is in Focus mode.
