Next Immunization Dose Reminders

VitalSync lets you log your vaccination history and set reminders for upcoming doses — whether it’s a second dose of a two-shot series, an annual flu shot, or a booster.

Adding a Vaccine Record

Open VitalSync → Reminders tab → Immunizations.

Tap + Add Vaccine.

Fill in:

- Vaccine name (e.g., Shingrix, COVID-19 Booster, Flu Vaccine)

- Date administered

- Dose number (e.g., Dose 1 of 2)

- Administered by (optional — e.g., Dr. Lee, CVS Pharmacy)

- Lot number (optional, for your records)

Tap Save.

Setting a Next Dose Reminder

After saving a vaccine record, tap Set Next Dose Reminder:

Select the due date for the next dose (VitalSync suggests standard intervals for common vaccines — see table below).

Set Remind me: 1 week before, 3 days before, or on the due date.

Tap Save Reminder.

Suggested Dose Intervals (CDC Guidelines)

Shingrix (Shingles)	Dose 2: 2–6 months after Dose 1
Hepatitis B	Dose 2: 1 month; Dose 3: 6 months after Dose 1
HPV (Gardasil 9)	Dose 2: 1–2 months; Dose 3: 6 months after Dose 1
Tdap / Td Booster	Every 10 years
Flu Vaccine	Annually (September–October recommended)
COVID-19 Booster	Per current CDC guidance
Pneumococcal (PCV15/20)	Per age and risk group schedule
RSV Vaccine	Annually for adults 60+

Intervals are based on CDC 2024 adult and child immunization schedules. Always confirm timing with your healthcare provider.

Viewing Your Immunization History

The Immunizations screen shows:

All logged vaccines in chronological order
Upcoming dose reminders with a countdown
A share button to export your immunization record as a PDF for school, travel, or employer requirements

Including Vaccines in Your Personal Health Report

Your immunization history is automatically included in the Personal Health Report PDF under the "Vaccinations" section, giving your provider a complete picture of your immunization status.
