Adding a Medication

VitalSync lets you manage your current medications with dosage details, prescriber notes, daily adherence tracking, and your preferred pharmacy for refills.

Adding a Medication

  • Tap the Medications tab (or Log → Medications).
  • Tap + Add Medication.
  • Enter:
  • - Medication name

    - Dosage (e.g., 10 mg)

    - Frequency (e.g., Once daily, Twice daily)

    - Time(s) of day

    - Prescriber (optional)

    - Pharmacy — tap to select from your Saved Pharmacies list (see below)

    - Notes (optional)

  • Tap Save.

  • Saved Pharmacies — Auto-Populate Your Pharmacy

If you always fill prescriptions at the same pharmacy, save it once in Settings and it will be available to select on every new medication entry — no re-typing required.

    To add a pharmacy:
  • Open SettingsPharmacies.
  • Tap + Add Pharmacy.
  • Enter:
  • - Pharmacy name (e.g., CVS Pharmacy — Main St)

    - Address

    - Phone number (used for the "Contact Pharmacy" shortcut in refill reminders)

  • Tap Save.
  • You can save multiple pharmacies (e.g., your local CVS and a mail-order pharmacy). When adding a new medication, tap the Pharmacy field and choose from your saved list.

Tip: Your saved pharmacy phone number also appears as a one-tap shortcut in Medication Refill Reminder notifications, so you can call to request a refill directly from the alert.

    Using Voice Scribe

Press and hold the microphone button and say:

"I take 10 milligrams of lisinopril once a day in the morning, prescribed by Dr. Johnson."

VitalSync will parse and pre-fill the form.

    Editing or Deleting

Tap any medication in the list to edit its details. Swipe left on a medication to delete it.
