Activity Readiness Messages Explained

The Activity Readiness section inside the Activity tab combines current weather conditions with your personal progress data to generate a short, motivating message.

What Signals Are Used

SignalExample

Temperature68°F → "Perfect day to hit a run"
Rain chance60%+ → "Rain on the radar — adjust the plan"
Wind speed25 mph → "Breezy out — keep expectations flexible"
Steps today7,200 / 10,000 → "Close to goal — finish strong"
Streak5-day streak → "Keep your streak alive"

The engine uses 2–3 signals at most to keep messages short and punchy. Phrases rotate to avoid repetition.

Best Activity Windows

The hourly forecast highlights 1–3 windows during the day where temperature, rain chance, and wind are all favorable for outdoor activity. Example:

Best outdoor window: 7 AM – 10 AM
Best evening window: 6 PM – 8 PM

Important Note

All activity readiness messages are strictly non-medical. They contain no diagnosis language, no clinical wording, and no treatment recommendations. They are simple lifestyle suggestions only.
